4K QUALITY

High definition has been taken to a whole new level with 4K cameras. The Inspire 1 camera is made to capture 4K video as well as shoot 12 megapixel photographs. The camera lens is designed with 9 elements in 9 different groups, including an aspherical element. The result is complete clarity like you’ve never experienced. With support from Adobe DNG RAW you have the ability to make every shot a professional masterpiece. 4K is the future of high definition.

UPGRADEABLE SYSTEM

Technology is always improving, and the design team behind Inspire 1 knows this. That’s why the gimbal and camera system may be easily removed whether for efficient and safe transport or for future upgrades.

LIVE HD VIEWING

Inspire 1’s camera is capable of sending real-time video feed in 720p HD to your mobile device, giving you the bird’s eye view you’ve always wanted. With DJI’s Lightbridge technology you can now transmit video from up to 2 kilometers away.

COLLABORATIVE CREATIONS

Now, you and a friend can create together. With a second remote controller two of you can work together to capture the absolute best shots with precision. With one operator controlling the flight path of the Inspire and the other operator controlling the gimbal and camera, each user can efficiently control their function with their own screen. Working together will provide the opportunity to capture visually complex and artistic shots that others may only dream of.

INDOOR FLIGHT

Managing flight indoors is not an easy task. The Inspire 1 makes it a bit more doable. With DJI’s new Optical Flow technology the Inspire 1 is able to hold its position, stop when you’re not using the controls, and respond to your commands even if GPS is unavailable wherever you are.

INTELLIGENT POWER MANAGEMENT

The Inspire 1 contains a high-powered intelligent battery that continually displays its remaining power while in flight. This system will also measure the distance between yourself and its current position, informing you when it is time to fly back home before losing battery power. The battery measures and tracks the life of each cell as well as the overall health and status of the battery. Drone batteries simply do not come smarter than this.

SOPHISTICATED CONTROLS

With DJI’s most advanced controller to date you can now control your Inspire 1 like never before. The controller contains ports for both HDMI and USB making it easy to connect mobile devices or other compatible screens. With buttons for photo and video filming and complete gimbal control, you can easily master your Inspire 1’s flight. It also comes with a high-powered rechargeable battery.

SAFE FLIGHT

Whether you’re an experienced or inexperienced flyer, taking off and landing your Inspire 1 is simple, yet safe. All it takes to lift off into filming mode or transforming back into landing mode is just one tap. With the help of GPS your Inspire 1 will always know its Home Point (wherever it is you’re standing) so it can easily return and land in an emergency.

MOBILE APP

Our fully integrated mobile app allows you to be in complete control of your camera and flight system. Auto takeoff and landing just require a simple tap; you can also manually control your cameras straight from your phone. We are always improving and updating the app, bringing you more and more features and functionality.

4K and HD Video

The 4K camera can shoot high quality video at 24p and 30p; it can also shoot HD video frame rates from 24p to 60p. The camera’s field of view (FOV) allows for about 20mm in 35mm equivalent. Though not as immersive as a fisheye view, this FOV is able to add more emphasis to the subject being filmed.

3-Axis Gimbal

This gimbal utilizes a 3-axis system which is able to stabilize any shot as well as the horizon level. With panning capabilities of 360° your camera can continue shooting on the same subject regardless of the direction in which your quadcopter flies.
